Brass dial wall clock, ca. 1770.

Mahogany wall clock. Top section with a molded cornice, a pierced and scrolled crest, two brass urn-and-spire finials, a rectangular door with a glazed bell shaped opening surrounded by narrow pierced fretwork. Bottom section with paneled front and ogee and ovolo molding at the bottom. Circular engraved dial with roman hour numerals and arabic minute numerals, rope twist border and bevel border around the outer edge, seconds dial and bearing the inscription "Simon Willard Grafton." Thirty hour movement.
